In this volume of Streaming Stories, Lucia Cerchie and Yanghao Wang will each introduce Confluent Cloud and RisingWave Cloud before demonstrating how integrating the two can simplify real-time data analytics from real-world data sources.
As an example, Lucia and Yanghao will show how to track real-time data records and do data analytics from the Automatic Identification System (AIS). AIS is one of the most popular vessel tracking systems used in a wide range of settings and across various verticals. The AIS sends real-time information on a vessel’s identity, location, type, course, navigational status, speed, etc., to other ships and coastal stations.
As an attendee, you will get to learn how to set up a topic in Confluent Cloud, pipe AIS data into that topic, and then create source streams in RisingWave clusters and perform data analytics.
