Businesses today depend increasingly on timely, accurate data collection and analysis. OLAP and stream processing promise to deliver much-needed analytical results with low latency. While both target real-time analysis, some differences merit mentioning.

During this panel, we work to understand better the typical use cases where OLAP systems do better than streaming and vice versa. We also discuss the potential for OLAP and streaming systems to merge in the future, their general relationship, and how both will develop.
